On a Sunday, they go cycling to the meadows
Passed the boating lake, over river Nene

There is more right round the bend

And at Falmouth docks, staying in a little cottage
They are dancing to folk music at the bar
And to Kynance Cove, they see the stone horse disappear
Now they're older by one more year

Maybe one day I will find you
Walking through an empty neighbourhood
And maybe before you will see me
Searching down this lonely avenue

time has been unkind and I don't know what's true
